I have always written a non-political newspaper column about my life here in Paola, Kansas, but since a severely right-wing administration took over in the Kansas statehouse in January 2011, I could hold back no longer. This blog will include both current commentary and reactions to politics in Kansas, as well as reprints of my columns.
